We looked at Photoshop 5's Photo Organizer.
Click "View and Organize Photos" in the Photoshop 5 Starting Box. Used for organizing. With digital cameras, it is easy to get thousands of pictures onto your computer instantly.
Photo Downloader creates a subfolder for those photos you are uploading at one time. A new subfolder will be created the next time you upload images to your computer.
Photo Organizer as it is uploading onto the computer, makes changes (such as a red eye fix).
Edit/Preferences - Alters the changes Photo Downloader makes during uploading. You can turn off/on the auto-fixes such as red eye.
Similar to the popular website "FACEBOOK", Photo Organizer allows you to tag people in picture so you can organize your images better! It allows you to be even more detailed by creating subcatergories under your tags (e.g. if you tag family, you can tag a subcatergory named kids).
File/Rename - Renames the common base name. (the name attached to all of the photos such as charlottehospital1.jpg, charlottehospital2.jpg)
You can select certain images to rename them individually. Just select the images and go to File/Rename.
You can even give ratings to your image in a similar fashion to tags.
You can order prints by dragging the image onto the Order Prints toolbar and fill out the form!
You can also use your images to create a photobook.
Collections can be created as many times as you want because it doesnt take up extra space since it doesn't COPY the image. Collections are similar to an index.
