Intro to Photoshop Elements 5
Wednesday, March 4, 2009 // 9:37 AM
In class today, we used Photoshop Elemnts 5.0 instead of Photoshop Elements 1.
To resize an image, you must figure out what the longest edge is (length or width).
Image/Resize/Image Size
Resample: Your changing the actual information (e.g. how many pixels are there.)
For example, the default setting does not select resample, so when you go in to change the width/height/resolution, the pixel dimension stay the same and only the document size changes. Resample allows you to change the pixel dimension as well as the document size.
File/Save for Web = Image/Resize/Image Size
Edit/Clear/Undo History - Clears the undo function so that you cannot go back. Saves memory.
Scratch Disk - Where it saves stuff that its working on now.
Goodbye for now,
- Serena
